by Bert Henderson in the winter of 1995/96, its first race appearance was in
Valleyfield
Quebec
as the Ahh Sum Secret CS-00 with Bert behind the wheel. It was Canadian High
Points winner in 1998 and was then sold to Martin Larochelle and renamed
“Abitibi Special” CS-55. The Hard Left racing team took possession of the
hull at the end of the 2000 season. In 2003 the hull was rebuild with new frames
and decks and in the spring of 2007 a new bottom was installed and once again
new decks covered the hull. Even though it is 11 years old the hull remains in
pristine condition.

has been building motors for the 2.5 class for over 25 years. Campaigning
boats such as “Why Not” CS-57 back in the 80’s and building motors
for his brother Russell in the 90’s CS-1 “Export A”, his motors have
won multiple championships over the years. Other’s including the likes
of Bert Henderson’s 2.5 L CS-00 Ahh-$um secret and now his GP-246
“Deep Water Special”, Pierre Maheu’s CS-46 also had been built by
Warren
. He is to this day, one of the most reputable engine builders in
Hydroplane racing.
